Rose Francois is a revolutionary author, anti-racism wellness coach, Educator, DEI leader, career development guru, and a lover of people. She is the founder of A Rising Up, a generational movement to end racism in our generation. A Rising Up’s mission is to help leaders learn how to begin and sustain anti-racism work while protecting their energy. Rose’ purpose in life is to use her voice and empower others to do the same.
Rose has a Bachelors in Communications and has worked in the Education Non profit space for 8+ years where she served as a Professional Coach and Program Leader developing talent and creating inclusive curriculum. Rose also has experience working with employers to advance economic mobility for people skilled through alternative routes without four-year degrees. Rose has served on DEI leadership teams and has contributed to advance equity for talent pipelines and company culture. She is the author of A Generational Cry: Based on A True Story of the Haitian Revolution, a literary weapon to disrupt systems of injustice. Her passion to elevate herself from oppression and her country has inspired an anti-racism framework called A Rising Up: A Cycle to Sustain Anti-Racism Work.
